Our Process
When you make an appointment for your pet, you will receive a welcome letter from us before your appointment. The letter will go over what to expect during the appointment day and the surgery day. During the appointment, your pet will be assessed and undergo a thorough examination and diagnostics. Our surgeon will discuss the findings and recommendations for your pet with you in detail. Our Board-Certified Veterinary Surgeons have years of experience performing complex orthopedic, soft-tissue, and neurologic surgeries and offer cutting-edge surgical care for your pets.
AVC Is Here To Serve
Our surgical team is committed to working closely with you, your pet, and your family veterinarian to achieve a successful surgical outcome. We recognize that having your family member undergo surgery can be stressful. To help alleviate some of the stress, we will explain your pet’s procedure to you in detail upfront, including potential complications, prognosis, and approximate cost. We will call you or text you with an update as soon as your pet is out of surgery and in our recovery area. We will send pictures of your pet each day they are hospitalized, and you can visit your pet when hospitalized during visiting hours.
