Referral Policy
At AVC Orlando, we understand that some cases require urgent attention from a specialist, while others may not be as time-sensitive. For urgent cases, we prioritize same-day referrals and request the referring veterinarians to call us directly to discuss the case and determine the most appropriate course of action. Our specialists are available to see urgent cases as soon as possible to ensure timely and effective treatment. Please call before 11:00 am to discuss potential same day transfers.
A referral form is appreciated but not required for referral. We do ask that the patient’s full medical records be provided to ensure comprehensive and accurate evaluation and treatment. For your convenience, you can email them to info@avcorlando.com.
In both urgent and non-urgent cases, we value open communication and collaboration with referring veterinarians to provide the best possible care for our patients.
